Ingredients
- mixed meat : 300g

- (B) Worcestershire sauce : 大さじ1

Prepare the onions

Chop the onion finely and place in a heat-resistant bowl.
Loosely cover a heat-resistant bowl with plastic wrap to allow air to escape.
Heat in a 600W microwave for 1 minute.
Spread the onions out and let cool thoroughly. -

Soak the breadcrumbs in milk

Add the milk to the breadcrumbs in another bowl and mix well.

Put ground beef into a bowl.
Add sugar and mix well.
Sprinkle salt and pepper and knead well.
Add 2 and (A) and knead well.
Add 1 and gently knead to combine. -

Cook over low to medium heat for 2 minutes until browned.
Flip it over and cook for 2 minutes over low to medium heat.
Once browned, add 2 tablespoons of water (not included in the recipe), cover, and cook over low heat for 8 to 9 minutes.
Once cooked, remove the hamburger steak to a tray. -

Place the hamburger steak from step 5 and accompanying vegetables (not included in the recipe) on a plate.
Pour sauce 6 onto the hamburger steak and it's done.
Point
・The ingredients are enough for three hamburgers.
・Chop the onion into small pieces so that it blends easily with the ground meat.
・After cooking the onions in step 1, allow them to cool thoroughly before adding them to the meat mixture.
- If air gets trapped in the meat before cooking, it may crack, so be sure to remove all the air before cooking.
- To check if the hamburger is done, insert a bamboo skewer into it and if clear juice comes out, it is done.
