Procedure

Put the sweet potato into the rice cooker

Wash the sweet potato well with the skin on.
Place in a rice cooker and add water up to the 3rd level. -

Remove the sweet potato and peel off the skin using kitchen paper or a damp cloth.
Remove the black part under the skin.
Cut to desired thickness with a wet knife. -

If using a food dryer, dry at 60-65°C for about 3 hours to complete.
Point
・We recommend silk sweet potatoes. If not, you can use your favorite brand.
・If you can't fit a whole sweet potato, cut it in half.
・If your rice cooker does not have a brown rice mode, you can use the normal rice cooking mode.
・Be careful not to move the knife back and forth when slicing, as the sweet potato is quite soft and crumbles easily.
・If you eat it after cooling it, the GI value will be lower.
