Ingredients

  • new onion : 2 (350g)
  • (A)塩 : ひとつまみ
  • (A)砂糖 : ひとつまみ
  • (B)酢 : 150ml
  • (B)はちみつ : 大さじ2
  • 昆布 : 3g

Procedure

  1. 1) Prepare fresh onions 00:40

    Cut off the head and root of the new onion and peel the skin.
    Cut in half, make several cuts on both ends, then slice thinly along the grain.
    Transfer to a bowl, add (A), mix and leave for 5 minutes.

    小鍋に(B)と軽く湿らせたキッチンペーパーで表面を拭き取った昆布を入れ、火にかける。
    沸騰したら火を止める。

  3. 3) 漬ける 04:56

    キッチンペーパーで表面の水分を軽く拭きとった1を容器に入れ、2を加える。
    よく混ぜてなじんだら、表面にラップをして冷蔵庫で2時間冷やしたら完成。
    1日経ったら昆布は取り除く。

Point

・By making several cuts on both ends of the onion before slicing it thinly, it will not grow too large when cut.
