Cut the top off the onion and thinly slice off the root.
Make a cut halfway down the top.
Place on a heat-resistant plate, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 6 minutes.
Slice the garlic thinly. -

Add the onion and garlic, cook the garlic for 1 minute and then remove.

- If it is hard after heating in the microwave, heat it further.
