- onion : 2 pieces (about 600g)
- Bacon (thick cut) : 100g
- 水 : 400cc
- 無塩バター : 40g
- 塩 : 適量
- pepper (white) : 適量
Peel the onion and cut it in half.
Cut along the fiber into 5 mm wide strips.
Place the frying pan on medium heat and add the butter.
Add onions and fry.
Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
When the water comes out of the onions, add the bacon and fry.
When the whole is cooked, add water and bring to a boil over high heat.
Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low.
Taste and adjust to your liking, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove the bacon and transfer to a plate.
Remove residual heat from the remaining soup in the pot and put it in a blender.
Cut the bacon into small pieces.
Transfer soup from blender to pot.
Heat the pot and heat the soup.
Taste and adjust to your liking.
Pour into a bowl and top with bacon to complete.

・The onion used in this recipe is Sapporo's traditional vegetable "Sapporo Ki".
- You can substitute with regular onions.
・Fry the onions over medium heat so that they don't color, so that they become sweeter.
