Point
・One pack of okra is 100g. The number varies depending on the size, but the weight is roughly the same.
・The downy hair of okra is unpleasant to the taste, so remove the downy hair.
・To remove the downy hair in step 1, place the okra in a net and gently rub the entire surface with running water.
・If you are using a cutting board to remove the downy hair, sprinkle salt on the okra, press it with your hands, and roll it on the cutting board.
・When removing the calyx from the okra in step 1, cut off the tip and scrape along the horizontal line immediately below.
- The purpose of making holes in the okra in step 1 is to prevent it from expanding while heating in the microwave.
・When heating okra in the microwave, only 1 minute is sufficient when using room temperature okra.
・After heating the okra, turn it over and preheat until cooked through.
・By finishing the okra in the microwave, the texture of the okra remains and the sweetness comes out. And never fail.
・For step 2, make a slit in the umeboshi with a knife, then use the back of the knife to open the umeboshi and remove the seeds.
・When cutting the okra in step 3, make sure to make them evenly sized.
- After mixing in step 3, the density will change depending on the salt content of the umeboshi, so taste it and adjust with salt (not included in the ingredients) if it's too thin.
・When adding the bonito flakes in step 3, mash them with your hands.
