- (A) Sugar : 大さじ1/2
- (A) Soy sauce : 大さじ2
- (A) Mirin : 大さじ2
- (A) Water : 100ml
- じゃがいも : 2個
- かつお節 : 1パック

Procedure

Slice the chikuwa into rounds.
Chop the carrots into small chunks.
Wrap the potatoes in plastic wrap and microwave for 4 minutes.
Cut it in half, peel it and cut it into pieces the same size as the carrots. -

Add chikuwa and carrots to a frying pan.
Add (A), mix, cover and place on high heat.
Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Check that the carrots are cooked through and add the potatoes.
Stir with a spatula to coat in sauce.
When the sauce has reduced, add the bonito flakes.
Mix everything together. -

Point
- If you microwave the potatoes before cooking, you can match the difference in cooking time between the potatoes and carrots.
-When reducing, it is a good idea to reserve some of the sauce and let the bonito flakes absorb the cooking liquid.
- After adding the potatoes, mix them as you cook them down so that the flavor penetrates well.
・It is a good idea to cut the ingredients to fit the size of the chikuwa.
