Add sesame oil to a frying pan and heat.
Once hot, add the konnyaku and stir fry over high heat.
Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until lightly browned, then add the chikuwa, turn the heat to medium, stir gently, add (A) and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
Once it is well mixed, add (B) and the chili peppers and stir fry for 1 minute.
Point
・The amount shown is for two people.
If you don't like spicy food, you can leave out the chili peppers.
・We use sake, but if you don't have any cooking sake you can use that instead.
・We use konjac that does not require soaking to remove the bitterness.
- Make cuts in the konnyaku and tear it apart with a spoon to allow the flavor to penetrate more easily.
- When konnyaku is fried, bubbles appear, but this is a chemical reaction and is not a problem.
-If you add sweet seasonings first, the sweetness will seep in more easily.
- You can sprinkle some green onions on top for color if you like.
