Finely chop the garlic. Cut the onion into 1mm pieces.

Add oil to a frying pan, add garlic and fry over low heat.

Add bean sprouts to high heat, then add water and bring to a boil. Add noodles and powdered soup and simmer for 3 minutes.

Turn off the heat while the noodles are still a little hard and serve in a bowl. Complete with char siu, green onions and soft-boiled eggs.
