Preparing the yuzu

Put yuzu and water (not listed) in a bowl and wash.
Remove the stem of the yuzu and slice it into thin slices of about 3-5 mm. -

Alternate 1 and sugar in a container.
Sprinkle with honey.
Press with a fork to flatten.
Cover and place in the refrigerator for about 4 hours.
Open the lid and mix the sugar on top.
Cover with plastic wrap so that it adheres tightly.
Cover and place in the refrigerator for 6 hours to half a day to complete.
Point
・Yuzu uses Hana Yuzu.
・Although the video uses yuzu citrus, you can use 4-5 regular yuzu instead.
・Time required for refrigerating for 4 hours and 6 hours to half a day is not included in the required time.
・You can make hot yuzu by pouring hot water over yuzu syrup and pulp, or you can add a piece of yuzu pulp to black tea.
・You can use it in cooking, chop it up and put it in a pound cake, or mix it with soda or sake.
