Ingredients
- sweet potato : One

Cut off both ends of the sweet potato and peel it with a peeler.
Cut the sweet potato into appropriate sizes.
Place the sweet potatoes in a bowl filled with water (not listed) and soak for 5 minutes. -

Wrap the sweet potato from step 1 in kitchen paper and place it in a bowl.
Pour water (not listed) into the bowl.
Gently squeeze the sweet potato on kitchen paper to squeeze out the water, then wrap it in plastic wrap.
Heat in a microwave at 150W to 200W for 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove the plastic wrap and kitchen paper and place the sweet potatoes in a bowl.
Mash with the back of a fork while still hot. -

Place the cut mochi and enough water (not listed in ingredients) to cover the cut mochi in a heat-resistant container.
Cover with plastic wrap and heat in a 600W microwave for 1 minute to 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Add cut mochi to Step 2 and mix well.

Point
・We use 300g sweet potatoes each.
・Although raw sweet potatoes are used in the video, you can also use roasted sweet potatoes.
・In step 2 in the video, heat in a 200W microwave for 18 minutes.
・After heating sweet potatoes in the microwave, it is a good idea to check if they are cooked through by piercing them with a bamboo skewer or fork.
・When mashing the sweet potatoes in step 2, you can use a masher or rolling pin.
・When mixing the cut mochi and sweet potato in step 3, you can use a fork or rolling pin.
・You can adjust the amount of sweetener depending on the sweetness of the sweet potato.
・In the video, sweet potato mochi is formed into balls and sprinkled with soybean flour.
