Peel the garlic and crush it with the flat side of a knife. -

Add salad oil to a frying pan and heat over medium heat.
When it's hot, add the pork belly and cook.
Once well browned, flip it over and cook for 30 seconds before removing it. -

・The pork belly block can be substituted with thick pork belly meat used for yakiniku.
・You can use sugar instead of granulated sugar, but we recommend using granulated sugar as it adds richness.
When grilling pork belly block, adding salad oil helps to remove the fat and unpleasant odor.
- Caramel will burn quickly after coloring, so be careful not to let it burn and become bitter.
- At the end of step 6, you can add 5g of butter if you like.
