Preparing the Okra

Place the okra on a cutting board, sprinkle with salt (not included in the recipe) and rub it on the board.
Rinse thoroughly under running water and transfer to a heat-resistant bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of water (not included in the recipe), cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 1 minute at 600W.
Place on a wire rack to cool, then place between kitchen paper to remove excess water.
