By the way, the main knives we use at home are Misono's Gyuto, and I think the stainless steel knife I had was made by an unknown manufacturer and cost around 1,500 yen (I don't remember the details...)
I'm not particularly picky about the frying pans and pots, so I just buy cheap ones and use them.
