Prepare the ingredients

Peel the skin of the lotus root with a peeler.
Cut the lotus root into 1/4 and cut into chunks.
Place the lotus root in a zip bag.
Roughly chop the bacon and place in a zip bag.
Open the zip bag partially and bake in a 600W microwave for about 5 minutes.
Add salt and pepper and pound with a pestle or rolling pin.
Add potato starch, mix, and beat again. -
