Cut off both ends of the cucumber and cut into 2-3mm wide pieces.
Put salt and cucumber in a bowl filled with water (not listed) and soak for about 30 minutes.
Make fine diagonal cuts on both sides of the chikuwa and cut into 1 cm wide round slices. -

Drain the water from step 1, squeeze by hand, wrap in a cloth and squeeze out the water.
Add the squeezed cucumber and chikuwa to 2 and mix.
Add white sesame seeds (not included in the ingredients), mix, and serve on a plate to complete.
Point
・By making fine cuts in the chikuwa in step 1, the flavor will permeate into the chikuwa and make it easier to eat.
・Be careful not to burn the white sesame seeds in step 2. It's best to stir the pan over a long distance while shaking the pan.
・In step 2, lightly mash the white sesame so that the texture of the white sesame remains.
